Dr. Lashonda Wofford
Dr. Lashonda Wofford founded and built several successful organizations, including an affirmation collection, L&S Consulting Group, and Wofford & Williams Inc. d/b/a Akins Helping Hands. She is a community advocate and personal development partner who encourages all to bet on themselves through her All Bets on Me platform on Facebook. Dr. Wofford has learned to bet on herself and accomplish her goals despite adversities through various pains and struggles. She holds a PhD in Christian Education and is a successful businesswoman of color who breaks the ceiling and creates tables for other women to have the same opportunities as she has.
Some of Lashonda’s noteworthy accomplishments include serving in the following roles: accredited certified instructor for Purpose Zeal Academy, certified executive leadership coach, certified life recovery coach, certified mental health counselor and certified transformational coach. She is a five-time best-selling author and the recipient of the 2022 ACHI Award for Public Service. Her books include anthology projects: Blessed Not Broken, Vol. I; Igniting Your Purpose; 90 Days of Biblical Affirmations for Christian Women in Business and Ministry; Love Business Marriage and her solo project Pain Equals Purpose, all of which can be purchased on her website.
Dr. Wofford is a proud member of Sigma Tau Sigma Sorority, and she strives to live out God’s plans for her life as she engages with others. She enjoys spending time with her family (especially her grandchildren), relaxing, reading, and practicing good self-care habits in her spare time. She resides in North Carolina with her husband and their family.
